Scottish National team coach visits Aberdeen

I hosted the National foundation session and the National Development session here in Aberdeen at our Dojang. There was a really good turn out to both sessions from students all over Scotland. This is the first time the National coach Nikos Jakubiak has been to Aberdeen to facilitated this session and it certainly is not the last. Nikos said he enjoyed the visit to Aberdeen and more importantly found some kids with a lot of potential. He trys to build kids confidence gradually and make sure they can perform their best when sparring. Nikos's words "Our coaches discovered a few gems from Aberdeen who can move up to the Development squad; a successful journey indeed".

Lyndzie Jeffrey achieved Great Britain’s best ever result of 11th in the 2nd Senior individual female category. She put in strong performances of Yukjang and Paljang to qualify from the preliminary round but despite her best efforts in Taebaek and Pyongwon didn't progress to the final.  Being one of the youngest in her category and achieving her best result to date means the future looks very bright for Lyndzie.
