Granite City Taekwondo has been running since 2001. The head instructor is Lyndzie, a 4th Dan black belt. She has been the Scottish champion, she has won in numerous competitions for both sparring and patterns. Instructors Adrian Miles 3rd Dan Black belt, Brian Fleming 1st Dan Black belt and Dmitry Dovgan 1st Dan Black belt.
 
Granite City Taekwondo is licensed through the BTCB (British Taekwondo Control Board). Each student is required to have their own licence and insurance to participate in the martial art. The instructor has her own licence and insurance as well as a club imdemnity insurance for teaching. The Instructor has also had a disclosure scotland done as a routine check, as the club facilitates for teaching children from the age 5.
 
Aberdeen Granite City Taekwondo is the only British registered WTF club in Aberdeen. Wtf (world taekwondo federation) is the olympic style of Taekwondo It is a full contact sport, full of fun, fitness and discipline. We offer regular competitions, regular gradings and seminars. Taekwondo is good for Self defence and self confidence.
 
The club runs on a Monday and a Thursday. It is open all year round, we just close for 2 weeks at Christmas.
